Specification Document Example

A specification document example refers to a sample where the technical specifications needed for the development of a software product is mentioned. Specifications can be both functional and non-functional and it helps the development team understand what the client needs and then come to a consensus about what they want from the program. This saves time and there is no instance of contradictory source code and testing. The specification document is reviewed once or twice by the stakeholders or clients after they decide on a cost-effective method to get the requirements the software aims for.
